Both sides were recorded in New York around July 25 of 1924 & were originally issued on Okeh 40170 & british Parlophone E-5269, with "Somebody Loves Me" (matrix S-72701-A) issued on spanish Odeon 10197 & "Bagdad" (matrix S-72702-A) issued on german Lindström American Record A-4257.

The 2nd trumpet for both sides is reported to be either Red Nichols or vic d'Ippolito.
